B6 shown to relieve the monthly blues

Results of an analysis of nine published trials involving over 900 women showed that PMS can be decreased with B6.  Dose shown to be effective were 50 to 100mg per day.     The doctors who did this study still do not recommend use of the vitamin (they want to study more people).   But, no conclusive evidence of serious side effects were seen in the 900 women studied and the vitamin worked!!   This was from the British Medical Journal 1999:318:1375-1381

Lifting Weights Shown to Decrease Cholesterol in Women

Training 3 days a week for 45 minutes per day caused a decrease in total cholesterol by 9% and the total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol ratio dropped by 14%!!!       Br J Sports Med 1999;33:190-195.
